Amsayu Method

Amsayu Method :-  Satyacharya said that the amsayu is correct method, longevity due to navamsha and amsayu should be applied only when the Lagna is very powerful other planets. Amsayu is equal to navamsha from Aries by the planets is Bharans and Harans

                      

                  A1.    Longitude of each planet is converted into Kalas. Then kalas are divided by 200. Rashi and Longitude of lagna converted into Kalas.

    Example:-  take to be longitude of Sun 10 R 20 degree 50' and converted into minutes (kalas) = 19250 /200 = 96 years balance= 50 x 12  = 600/200 =3months
Divided 12 Sun = 8years 3months.`It is the number of years and Navamsha degree of lagna given the years.
